LEAGUE OVERVIEW

Twenty-two seasons.
Still built for more.

The Great Eastern Football Association began play in 2005 and has grown into America’s longest continuously running nonprofit eight-man amateur football league.
GEFA players competing for the football

GEFA creates a competitive home for overlooked talent, veteran players, coaches, and communities across Pennsylvania. The league’s spring schedule delivers a fast, physical brand of football while preserving the names, teams, championships, and stories that built it.

The next era is focused on stronger league operations, verified career statistics, better access to game film, and a digital home that gives every player a lasting place in GEFA history.
